PASMA Training – Towers

Purple Training Solutions can provide this course at our training centre in Ilchester or across the South West at your premises*. The PASMA mobile access tower training course will ensure that you are properly trained in the erection, alteration, movement, inspection, dismantling and most importantly the use of alloy towers.

Course agenda

To provide an introduction to mobile alloy access towers:

  • Legal overview of Health & Safety including the 2005 Work at Height Regulations
  • BS and EN standards
  • Tower components, inspection and maintenance
  • Tower assembly and dismantling using 3T and AGR systems
  • Stability and hazards
  • Your responsibilities
  • Theory test paper
  • Practical training

On successful completion of the above you will gain a PASMA certificate of Competence and photo ID card valid for 5 years

*A suitable room with heat, light, power, tables and chairs for the theory section is required together with an area of hard-standing having a clear 6m height preferably indoors as if the weather precludes erection of the tower the course would be aborted without refund. A minimum number of 4 delegates are required for on-site training. The course when held at your site is subject to weather conditions and may be cancelled / curtailed with no refund should weather conditions jeopardize safety.
